Effectiveness Of Wound-Be-Gone Gel Against Burns

Burns are a traumatic injury which can be caused by thermal, electrical, chemical, or electromagnetic energy. Both infants and the elderly are at the greatest risk for burn injury. A burn is damage to our body’s tissues caused by heat, chemicals, electricity, sunlight or radiation. Scalds from hot liquids and steam, building fires and flammable liquids and gases are the most common causes of burns.

There are three types of burns:

  • First-degree burns damage only the outer layer of skin
  • Second-degree burns damage the outer layer and the layer underneath
  • Third-degree burns damage or destroy the deepest layer of skin and tissues underneath

Burns can cause swelling, blistering, scarring and, in serious cases, shock and even death. They also can lead to infections. After a third-degree burn, one needs skin or synthetic grafts to cover exposed tissue and encourage new skin to grow. First- and second-degree burns usually heal without grafts.

A severe burn can be a seriously devastating injury – not only physically but emotionally. It can affect not only to the burn victim, but the entire family. Persons with severe burns may be left with a loss of certain physical abilities, disfigurement and loss of a limb, loss of mobility, scarring, and infection. In addition, severe burns are capable of penetrating deep skin layers, causing muscle or tissue damage that may affect every system of the body. Burns can also cause emotional problems such as depression, nightmares, or flashbacks from the traumatizing event.

Burns can be caused anywhere. Even home is not a safe place to stay away from burns. The kitchen is the most dangerous room in the house, and the most likely place for burns and scalds to occur. Some burns can be treated at home while others require treatment by health professionals. Some of these burns include burns that are bigger than the palm of the hands, burns on the face, neck, hands, and in the groin and all the third degree burns.

Everybody should know the ways to prevent themselves from being burnt. The first step in helping to prevent from being burned is to understand these common causes of burns:

  • Scalds, the No. 1 culprit (from steam, hot bath water, tipped-over coffee cups, hot foods, cooking fluids, etc.)
  • Contact with flames or hot objects (from the stove, fireplace, curling iron, etc.)
  • Chemical burns (from swallowing things, like drain cleaner or watch batteries, or spilling chemicals, such as bleach, onto the skin)
  • Electrical burns (from biting on electrical cords or sticking fingers or objects in electrical outlets, etc.)
  • Overexposure to the sun

Would-Be-Gone gel can produce miraculous results when applied on burns. It’s considered to be the most effective burn injury gel. It significantly reduces pain and provides faster regeneration of skin. Hence Would-Be-Gone gel should be a must for every body’s home kit.

Recognized as an incredible invention in healing wounds, Wound-Be-Gone gel doesn’t contain antibiotics or any other biochemical substances. Thus, it should be used by people of all ages to cure burns.
