Wound-Be-Gone® is a topical gel created to accelerate wound healing and reduce scarring. It is a unique combination of highly effective "moist healing" and a patented active ingredient. The moisture supports cell movement and maintains a constant temperature in the wound, resulting in rapid healing without unsightly scars. The active ingredient removes free oxygen radicals from the wound and simultaneously creates an elastic barrier between the wound and its external environment. This prevents the wound from becoming contaminated and speeds the healing process. The gel also contains a hydrating agent, which helps ensure "moist healing".

In the early 1990s, Laboratory tests conducted by scientists from the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic successfully incorporated free oxygen radicals scavengers into a polymer structure. The use of polymer matrices has a number of advantages in wound healing. Their composition of interconnected macromolecules prevents foreign molecules from penetrating the skin and invading the body. Thus, they remain on the wound's surface. This allows our active ingredient to work undisturbed.
